The Marrakech Museum of Decorative Arts

A brand new visitor attraction, the Musée des Arts de la Parure (the Museum of Decorative Arts), has just opened in the historic Kasbah district of Marrakech, just a short walk of Les Borjs de la Kasbah.  In a new, purpose built setting, an exhibition space of some 1300 m2 is devoted to a collection comprising more than 3,000 pieces of jewellery including bracelets, pendants, necklaces, chains, rings, earrings, belts, breastplates, brooches, hairpins, tiaras, wedding rings and other priceless artefects, the entire collection having been brought together by Marlène and Paolo Gallone from the four corners of the world, including the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
